Scarlett turned to yoga when her life was in a huge transition. Since then, yoga has become a lifestyle to Scarlett that shifted her belief, habits and attitudes. When Scarlett is off from her full time job in Event profession, she is practicing yoga on her own or teaching in small classes in color-coordinating yoga set. Yoga is not just a workout to Scarlett, it is a work in. She connects with her true self by practicing yoga and finds inspiration and calmness in nature. She believes it is a way of life that changed how she sees the external world as well as directing her to look within and find life purpose. By teaching yoga, Scarlett hopes to share the same benefits in physical, mental and spiritual to other people as what yoga brings to her.

“Thank you Reta for bringing the other side of me through her lenses. Frankly speaking, I am not a hardcore yogi that I could show off doing a scorpion pose. My approach to practicing yoga is on my own pace and finding stillness and strength at the same time. And Reta captured it perfectly by incorporating nature in the photos.

The photos show the authentic benefits of what yoga brings to people - inner peace. It was a very fun experience posing like this for photos, especially when I was losing balance standing on one leg with water(and tiny crabs) coming my way! But Reta was very patient and laughed with me.”

After the shooting, she has realised that her passion for art is not only about oil painting, the "art" is a broader concept, it can be other kinds of visual art, for example, it can be watercolour painting or even casual sketching on a sketchbook.

There we go, no one knows better what she wants and the needs in the market was seen too.
